Drupal is the name of the content management system (CMS) service on the UC Merced campus. It represents an evolution in technology and a new phase in the life of the campus-supported CMS service.
Drupal is managed by a team of three members (Web Team), within the Public Relations department, that seeks to provide a robust, feature-rich, easy-to-use web solution to eligible users across campus.
Clients will be able to request a site instance through Drupal, which will then be created and hosted on a vendor server company called Blackmesh. The service is free of charge to clients.
We’ll assist you from your initial request all the way through to launching your unit’s digital experience on-line. This includes on-going support through training, documentation and service requests via web@ucmerced.edu ticketing.
